Geriatrics
Geriatric physiotherapy is a specific form of treatment adapted for the elderly, aimed at preserving or restoring their functional abilities, preventing loss of independence and improving their quality of life daily.

Description
Re-education in geriatrics is aimed at the elderly who are faced with a loss of balance, reduced strength and mobility, joint pain or difficulty moving around. It is also indicated after a fall, fracture, hospitalisation or chronic illness such as osteoarthritis, Parkinson's disease or osteoporosis.
As a physiotherapist, I offer personalised, progressive and reassuring support. The sessions aim to restore or preserve essential functions: walking, transfers, balance, coordination and everyday movements.
The treatment includes exercises adapted to each person's abilities, gentle muscle strengthening, joint mobilisation, techniques to stimulate balance and proprioception, as well as advice on how to adapt the environment and prevent falls.
